LAKELANDS RIDING CLUB

Lakelands Riding Club is based at Beechlane Equestrian Centre, Cavan.

We hold our club nights on Wednesday.

With forty-four members and rising we usually
hold at least two sessions each of these nights
and sometimes three especially in the middle of the season.

Members are interested in show jumping,
dressage, cross country, TREC, and having fun.

We go on beach rides and forest rides and
while we are competitive
we try to not take it too seriously!!!!

As a club we take part in these various disciplines
throughout the year and
without boasting we are for the most part successful.

The riding club provides members with the opportunity
to take part in many competitions at all levels.

This is a great facility as anyone with any type
of horse/pony can find a competition
to enjoy at their own level of ability.

The fact that adults can compete on
a pony [14 h.h. minimum] is brilliant as
many parents use ponies that their children have outgrown.

There is always a terrific atmosphere at club events
with support for competitors from all spectators.

So if you have always wanted to enjoy
horse riding but never had the chance
come along and see what we do
and maybe you will want to join up and have fun too.
